Description

The evergreen cypress (Cupressus sempervirens) is an emblematic tree of the Mediterranean, recognizable by its slender silhouette. Its essential oil is obtained by steam distillation of the twigs and needles, which release a distinctive woody, fresh and resinous fragrance. In aromatherapy, it is traditionally associated with a sensation of lightness and comfort in the legs. It is also appreciated as a toning, astringent note for skin and scalp care. Its clean, purifying aroma makes it a favoured ally for naturally freshening and refreshing the air. This is a concentrated essential oil, to be used always diluted and with care.

How to use

An essential oil to be used always diluted: mix 1 to 3 drops into a tablespoon of vegetable oil (sweet almond, jojoba). For the legs, massage upwards with the diluted blend, once or twice a day depending on the comfort you seek. For diffusion, add a few drops to a diffuser to scent and freshen the air in short sessions. Never apply neat over large areas, do not ingest, and avoid contact with the eyes and mucous membranes. Carry out a skin test on the inner elbow 24 hours before first use. Not recommended for pregnant or breastfeeding women, young children, or in cases of hormone-dependent history; keep out of reach of children.
