Description
Our Anti-Lice Hair Oil brings together tea tree oil (Melaleuca alternifolia), lavender (Lavandula angustifolia) and neem oil (Azadirachta indica) — three plants long valued in traditional hair care routines around the world. Tea tree is prized for its crisp, purifying scent, lavender lends a calming note that both kids and adults enjoy, and neem, native to India, has long featured in Asian hair and scalp care traditions. Each oil is extracted by cold pressing or steam distillation to keep its natural aroma and character intact. Perfect as a preventive step before the school term, summer camp or any time your child mixes with large groups, this oil is worked through dry hair before shampooing, then followed by careful combing with a fine-tooth comb. It is not a medical head-lice treatment and contains no pesticide — think of it as a natural companion to your regular hair hygiene routine, not a substitute for medical care.
Benefits
- A traditional pick for preventive hair care ahead of school term, camp or group activities
- Tea tree is well known for its fresh, purifying scent
- Lavender helps bring a soothing feel to the scalp
- Neem has long featured in traditional hair and scalp care
- Helps prepare hair for thorough, fine-tooth combing
- A natural formula designed to support a regular hair care routine
How to use
Apply a generous amount of oil to dry hair, section by section, paying extra attention to the nape of the neck and behind the ears, then gently massage into the scalp. Leave on for at least 30 minutes — ideally overnight under a shower cap or towel — then comb thoroughly with a fine-tooth comb before shampooing as usual. Repeat 2 to 3 times a week during preventive periods, or as a one-off before and after time spent in group settings.
Composition
A blend of vegetable and essential oils of Melaleuca alternifolia (tea tree), Lavandula angustifolia (lavender) and Azadirachta indica (neem), obtained by cold pressing and steam distillation.
